"Strictly from a novice point of view, the overall integrity of the cut looks great, it looks like it will be a very durable product. I personally love the character my particular piece shows, the wrinkles across the shoulders and some minor imperfections will help make some very nice vintage looking pieces, yet still have the durability I need for the belt projects I have in mind for it. Also from the beginner standpoint, this was a GREAT price point. You get a lot of leather to practice with at a really good price."

"I have purchased this leather for years. For the price it's hard to beat. Most if not all of my pieces are made for function, not for show. The scars, stretchmarks, and brands that are sometimes on this leather are a touch that I, and the folks I gift the items to, enjoy. If your looking for pristine leather, this isn't the one for you, but if you like the look of leather from an animal that lived, I think you'll enjoy this."
